Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reechy at reechy.cam (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Reechy ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Reechy is a browser-based video pitch recording platform that allows users to record, edit, and share video messages via unique shareable links. The Service includes video recording, in-browser editing (trimming, filters, cropping), teleprompter functionality, shareable viewer pages, and related features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Service. By using Reechy, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Account Registration

Some features of the Service require you to create an account using Google OAuth or email magic link. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

5.1 Plans

Reechy offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Free accounts are subject to limits on the number of videos and maximum recording duration. Paid plans provide increased or unlimited usage. Current plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page.

5.2 Billing & Renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected plan) through our payment provider, Polar. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period.

5.3 Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. After your subscription ends, your account will revert to the free tier, and plan limits will apply.

6. User Content & Intellectual Property

6.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all video content, audio, images, text, and other materials you create or upload through the Service ("User Content"). Reechy does not claim ownership of your User Content.

6.2 License Grant to Reechy

By uploading User Content, you grant Reechy a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, display, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your User Content or your account.

6.3 Shared Content

When you generate a shareable link, your video and associated metadata (title, summary, agenda) become accessible to anyone with that link. You are solely responsible for who you share your links with and the content contained in your videos.

6.4 Reechy Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, branding, logos, and documentation, is owned by Reechy and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, record, or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or that violates any third party's rights
• Upload content that infringes any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right
• Distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our infrastructure
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access-control features of the Service, including rate limits or plan restrictions
• Use the Service for spam, phishing, or other fraudulent purposes
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users
• Record or share content depicting minors without proper parental consent

We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

8. Copyright & DMCA

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to hello@reechy.cam with the following information:

• Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including the URL or link
• Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
• Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (including Google for authentication, Polar for payments, and Cloudflare for storage). Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, REECHY AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (C) ANY USER CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (I) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM OR (II) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Reechy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) shall survive.

Upon account termination, we will delete your User Content within 30 days unless retention is required by law. You may request a copy of your data before termination by contacting us.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Astana, Kazakhstan.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Effective date" above. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

16. General Provisions

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Reechy regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
