Reechy ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website reechy.cam and the Reechy browser-based video pitch recording service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using Reechy, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account via Google OAuth or magic link email, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if provided by your identity provider). We use this information solely to create and manage your Reechy account.

2.2 Video Content

When you record and upload videos through the Service, we store your video files, including any audio, images, and your likeness contained therein. Videos are stored on our cloud infrastructure and are accessible via the shareable links you generate.

2.3 Technical & Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you visit or use the Service, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages visited, features used, timestamps, and referring URLs.

2.4 Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Polar. We do not directly collect or store your credit card numbers or banking details. Polar may share your subscription status, plan type, and transaction identifiers with us.

2.5 Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) for authentication, session management, and analytics. Our analytics provider (PostHog) may set cookies to understand usage patterns and improve the Service. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function properly.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Create and manage your account
• Process and manage your subscription
• Store and deliver your video content via shareable links
• Enforce rate limits and plan restrictions
• Send transactional emails (e.g., sign-in links, view notifications)
• Analyze usage to improve and optimize the Service
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only with the following categories of service providers who assist us in operating the Service:

5. Google OAuth Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We use this information solely to create and manage your Reechy account. We do not:

• Sell your Google account data to third parties
• Use your Google account data to serve advertisements
• Share your Google account data with data brokers or information resellers
• Use your Google account data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers operated by our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Supabase, Upstash). We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account information and video content for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual videos from your dashboard at any time. When you delete a video, the file is removed from our storage infrastructure within 30 days.

If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us at hello@reechy.cam. Upon account deletion, we will delete your personal data and video content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
• Data portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
• Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data
• Objection: Object to our processing of your personal data
• Withdraw consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Categories of personal information we collect include: identifiers (name, email), internet activity data (usage logs), and audiovisual information (video recordings).

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
